Just saw that tomorrow's Nordpool electricity pricing has a huge spike...in the middle of the night? Never seen anything like this, anyone has any idea what might be the cause?
(I mean sure 13 cents is not the end of the world, it only looks like a big peak in comparison to the very cheap day prices, but still, that second peak after 9PM is weird AF)
I have no idea, but of course... it is possible.

Not sure if anyone who follows me uses Molly, the unofficial Signal fork, but it stopped delivering messages at some point today.
I've restored an automatic backup made at 08:12 this morning using the official Signal app, but have lost some messages.
I guess this is a PSA that Signal may be actively blocking unofficial forks now. Also, the main reason I used Molly, which was to install it on multiple devices, has apparently been 'solved' by the official app.

I’ve quit my job and have been back full time on it this week. It’s mildly terrifying.
However, I love sending real actual post and really go all out on it being something you actually want to receive.

Getting so tired of folks on r/transmasc straight up posting awful transphobia there. Like I get they are commiserating and looking for support but I avoid certain places and people on purpose and I hate being exposed to it when I’m not even in those subs/communities.
r/transmasc does seem to skew younger and I never see this kinda shit in the over 30 and over 50 subs. It really feels like youthful insecurity that drives the behaviour. 20 somethings putting too much power in the opinions of assholes and then spreading it around. Might have to leave the sub, I dunno.
Also getting very fatigued with “do I pass???” posts because passing is bullshit to begin with and it just means everyone chimes in to say peircings or dyed hair make you look like a girl which is obviously not true and how people read your gender in public is a complex series of cues impossible to replicate online with a couple photos.
We pick a day like this to move. 😳

@steeph @hellomiakoda there is "never encountering a bloated site" for which yeah Gemini or Gopher are great, but also "most sites you find are not bloated" and for that search engines that only index those sites do a nice job. Marginalia also gives you some hints on JS and other details before opening the site.

Mad D&D monster idea:
The gelatinous tesseract.
Looks and acts just like a gelatinous cube *except* it extends through the fourth dimension (time). If an adventurer is ingested then fights their way out, roll a d6 to determine which instance they emerge from. (DM needs to pre-plan the history around the monster and work out when each facet exists.)
If you don't kill the jelly you can dive back in and try for another time. But once it's dead you're stranded whenever you killed it.
